The staff of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s annual student-run anime, sci-fi, and gaming convention, Genericon, are pleased to announce that Uzuhi and Jenny Blanchard will be returning to this year’s Genericon.
Uzuhi has previously performed their unique form of J-pop infused punk music at Ground Zero, RPI’s student-rganized underground music venue, as well as New Jersey manga convention MangaNEXT. Uzuhi’s performance will take place on Saturday evening, March 2, 2013, at the RPI Playhouse.
Jenny Blanchard (Electronic Arts ‘09) is the author of Enjuhneer, a webcomic centered around life at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (a.k.a “RPI,” the university that has hosted Genericon each year for its nearly 25-year history). She started drawing Enjuhneer in 2008, and continues to update nearly two years after graduating. Blanchard will be running two panels about her comic and an “Enjuhneer edition” of the party game Werewolf.
